An independent site
iost.asia is an independent information site about the IOST blockchain and the IOST token. It is not the official IOST website, it is not run by the IOST project, and it is not affiliated with the IOS Foundation Ltd, the Singapore company that issues IOST. Nothing on this site is an official statement from the IOST team. For official announcements, use the project’s own website and channels, which we link from pages such as what is IOST.
IOST logos, names and trademarks belong to their owners. We use them only to identify the project and the exchanges we write about.
Not financial, tax or legal advice
Our pages explain how IOST works, where it trades, how exchanges compare and what the rules are in different Asian countries. That is general information. It does not take your personal situation into account, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold IOST or any other asset. We are not licensed financial advisers, tax advisers or lawyers.
Exchange scores in our reviews, such as the Coincheck review, are editorial opinions about how well an exchange serves IOST buyers. They are not ratings of creditworthiness or guarantees of safety. Tax and legal summaries on our country pages, such as IOST in Japan, describe rules as published by authorities. Tax law changes and depends on your circumstances, so check with the relevant tax authority or a qualified professional before you act.
Crypto risk
IOST is a highly volatile small-cap crypto asset. Its price has fallen more than 99% from its January 2018 high, and short spikes have reversed within days. Exchanges can be hacked, pause deposits and withdrawals during network upgrades, or delist a token. Transfers sent with the wrong memo or on the wrong network can be lost for good. Our IOST risk guide goes through these risks in detail.
Only use money you can afford to lose completely. Past price moves say nothing reliable about future ones, and our price prediction page deliberately tests popular targets instead of setting our own.
Third-party data
Live prices, charts, exchange rates and explorer results on this site come from third-party public sources, including CoinGecko, the Binance market data API, public currency-rate services and IOST and BNB Chain network endpoints. We do not control these sources. Data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and widgets hide themselves when fresh data is unavailable. Always confirm prices and balances on the exchange or wallet you actually use. The privacy policy lists every service your browser contacts.
External links and buttons
We link to exchanges, regulators, block explorers and official project pages so you can check facts yourself. We are not responsible for the content, availability, terms or security of external sites. Always type exchange addresses yourself or use bookmarks, and check you are on the real domain before you sign in.
Buttons such as “Open account” or “Start with crypto” lead to CEX.IO, a third-party exchange. CEX.IO does not list IOST, does not serve users in Japan, and holds no license from Asian regulators such as Thailand’s SEC. Its availability depends on your country, so check whether it serves you and what rules apply locally before signing up. Our how to buy IOST guide explains the full route and the regulated local options in each country.
Accuracy and changes
We work from primary sources and say when something could not be verified, but we can still make mistakes, and facts change quickly. Fees, listings and regulations described here may be out of date by the time you read them. If you find an error, please email support@iost.asia; our about page explains how we handle corrections. We may update this disclaimer at any time, and the version on this page is the one that applies.
